I use physical drives that I backup and swap weekly. I’m not a business and this is good enough for the things I want to save, in case everything goes BOOM! I was probably one of the first to say “A Cloud? That would be just someone else’s computer. Why would you store your valuable data in somebody else’s computer? That makes no sense!”

Or is he one of those rare politicians who listens to the people of the country and shifted gears accordingly? While some will suffer and some will despise the lack of a deal, most Canadians are collectively digging in for the long haul in a show of support.

It’s not a waste of time. We need to do what we diplomatically can (while making other plans).

I see it as an easy win for Canada because this started as a grassroots movement by the people. The provincial government removal from the shelves came afterwards, in support. Put the booze back, who cares. Most people still won’t purchase that fascist crap.

Lately Canada is running commercial ads telling us about the future of green energy and how massive investments will help all. The pipelines are not even mentioned once. That bugs me a bit. Seems disingenuous. I understand there needs to be a weaning off process over time but show us the complete picture of your vision, not more ads to sell us on.

Then again, it may not be. Now that’s News!

Canada needs quality inexpensive vehicles for the masses. I don’t care where the hell they come from.

Fuck advertising hooks/campaigns in general. Fuck advertising in general. The way I am forced into viewing ads…everything should be free.

I prefer trade paperbacks over the initial first-run hardcovers because they are easier to carry around. I will carry around a big old heavy hardcover if there is no paperback though. The only drawback with this is, sometimes there is not enough light to read, and the book machines provide that.

I hope to avoid the apocalypse, Armageddon and black Friday but I know I must eventually succumb to time.

Whether it’s a back-alley transaction or a multinational corporation transaction “the first one is free” is a marketing tactic that seems to work time and time again.

I’m Canadian. I’ve got some old disc drives and usb sticks in the back of my closet that I’m not using anymore. I will contribute them to Canada so we can store our own data in our own data silos. BOOM! Tech problem solved! /s

I use Plex to save money on plumbers because I cannot solder. Plex gives me the ability to exact repairs myself.
