Oh you still need to ditch android, as Google is going the way of apple. Not sure what I will do for a new phone right now.
But as android has a Linux kernel, the amount of Linux things is amazing

You do know that android is Linux under the hood right?
So we have a Linux phone now, it’s just got a crappy front end on it

have you seen this 👉 https://lrclib.net/ it might be what you want

The way you plug a VM into proxmox is with a virtual switch, bridge devices do they or the SDN stuff. I’ve played SDN yet so not sure how that works, but I do run bridges.
I would make 2 bridges, br0 and br1.
Br0 is the wan side of opensense, br1 is the Lan side.
Don’t add any IP to either, add an IP to the last nic as a management port.
Now plug your VM into the bridge devices.

You all need to get on vaultwarden, the small self host bitwarden. I move to that after my keypass db got out of sync on my nextcloud for the second time that day, I’ve not looked back.

What do you self host?

How do you host your nextcloud instance?

first off, you will not get your full 109Mb as thats into your house. You should see something close to the 76Mb, as that is out of your house.
How did you test your external speed to your house and to your friends house?
If that was from your phone/laptop, that could be your phone provider capping you

I run nextcloud in a collection of vms, nginx with SSL offloading, php-fpm, mariaDB and a docker host. Its rock solid and is a full google replacment, with office and even an RSS reader.

Please let me know if you need more words

Have a look at jq, a shell tool that can pass json and output in any way you want.
Or yes a python script will do that too

self hosting is all about whats right for you, as said, lots here use cloudflare. I would never use cloudflare as I like to mess up my stuff on my own, not have some company piss it up and have to wait for them to fix it.
I would see plex as the half way house of self hosting, you run a service that someone else has the control over.

Also, you could setup users without email. As I don’t think it’s mandatory
Edit: can confirm email is optional

if you run home assistant, you can setup music assistant that has snapcast builtin

Music assistant has a snapcast server builtin, so you could replace all your Google devices with snapcast clients

Did you I know music assistant can use snapcast as media device and so can announce and play music?

Not much clearly

I know, that’s why I’m asking.
What’s your number M8?
