Personally I suggest buying the WD red pro, they are better but I saw that one costs around 400€ for 8tb and I paid less than that for two. Also as someone else mentioned you probably won’t hear them cause of the fans, HDD optimal temperature is between 12 C and 45C, I made the mistake of not properly cooling and one drive is degraded

What size are you looking for? I paid ~150€ for 12tb refurbished and ~200 for 8tb new. Don’t think you could get a high capacity drive for 100 even before the crisis
