Just a demonstration of the power of consumers.

I strongly suggest folks write to the stores at which they shop asking for more Canadian or at least non American options. And where there isn’t clear labelling, demand it.

      I’m fortunate that I have that option as well. I didn’t generally shop at them before, so not a big hardship, but I would be very hesitant to go back now if I did. They’ve had over a year (how long has this been going one?) to figure this out, and decided instead to do this.

      But if the article is correct, and they don’t have to label, we need to change that. I’d rather a label that said “product of US, Mexico, Peru or some other five countries” if they really don’t know.

        It’s irresponsible to not let customers know regardless of our beef with the USA. It’s not safe potentially. Like lettuce. I wouldn’t buy US (possible diarrhea) lettuce even if the clown and his circus wouldn’t be an issue.
