Well you are on Lemmy rather than Reddit, you appear to be wanting to be surveilled less. May I suggest you get into home labbing, it is a hobby that will give you a little more privacy (or a lot more depending on how far you go). I started years ago with one simple raspberry pi and pihole, time would go by when I would just get board of it and stop using it but that quickly got me back into using it. I would upgrade the system several times in different ways over the years to what I have now; I have 2 pi 5’s (a third which I plan on using as off site backup sooner or later). On top of my two pihole setups (they both do more than just pihole), I have 2 static ip’s so my ISP does less snooping on me as they understand that I have my own firewall they cannot see past, which yes I have a firewall with a customized and hardened vanilla install of openwrt. My plan was to self host my own email, when I discovered it would be a lot harder than a weekend project I got the email package provided by easyDNS, who now hosts my domain name, I have a different email address for everything (service name)_(Saskatchewan specific word)(three random numbers)@reannlegge.ca. EasyDNS’s easymail I would recommend over my old hosting service (Hosthero) any day of the week I can make random emails just on the fly, and if there are not rules for that email address it just goes to the junk.
Find a new hobby that helps seperate you from being tracked, let it be pihole like I did or something else simpler and start using searxng instead of a commercial search engine.
I have mitigated against just about everything i know i can, and carved out special areas where the necessity to expose any pii is wholly separate from any other activities.

I have masks, throwaways, anonymizers. I do all the things. And I’m not even a criminal (anymore). I have many hobbies that are fully and completely disconnected. From arts and making music, building and fixing everything, biking, cooking, gardening to staring at the night sky in wonder.
Unfortunately, i am apparently of such enormous value and threat to the security of the nation and its people that i am surveilled 24/7. Wherever i go. Whatever i do.
And no, I’m not on parole. And no, I’m not paranoid. I’ve proven it to people i know, time amd time again.
